DAMKA Strengthens Strategic Partnership with the Ministry of Health to Expand NCD Programs

Don Amolo Memorial Kids Ark(DAMKA) held a productive strategic meeting at the Ministry of Health's Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Division to discuss the organization's expansion of activities and opportunities for strengthened collaboration in improving health outcomes.
The meeting brought together Dr. Gladwell Gathecha, Head of the Division of Non-Communicable Diseases at the Ministry of Health, Republic of Kenya; Patrick Thomas, Head of International Programs at SolidarMed; Dr. Yvette Kisaka from the Ministry of Health; Rose Muhanda and Dr. Alila from the Kakamega County health leadership; and Dorothy Carolyne Mabunde, Founder and Executive Director of DAMKA.
The discussions focused on expanding DAMKA's programs, strengthening partnerships, and enhancing coordinated efforts to improve the prevention, care, and management of non-communicable diseases and other priority health interventions across communities in Kakamega County and beyond.
